MysticalCalc sits in an unusual spot: it publishes real arithmetic wrapped around traditions that were never meant to be scientific. Here is how we handle that honestly.
MysticalCalc is an entertainment site. Its calculators run real, published methods (Pythagorean numerology, tropical Western astrology, the Chinese lunar zodiac, the modern birthstone list), so the arithmetic on the page is accurate to whichever tradition it implements. What those results supposedly mean about a person's future, personality or relationships is folklore, not fact. Every calculator and article says so, and we do not soften that line to make a page sound more authoritative than it is.
We do not write or publish content that presents a numerology reading, a zodiac sign or an angel number as a prediction, a diagnosis, or a substitute for financial, medical, legal or relationship advice. If a draft implies otherwise, whether in a headline, an FAQ answer, or a table caption, it gets rewritten before it runs. Phrases like "in popular tradition" and "for entertainment" are not filler; they are load-bearing and go back in if an edit removes them.
Traditional meanings (angel number symbolism, zodiac elements, life path themes) come from long-established public folklore, not from any single proprietary source, and we do not claim to have originated them. Numeric facts we do control, like which years match which Chinese zodiac animal or which letters map to which numerology value, are checked against the same lookup tables the calculators themselves use, so the article text and the tool never disagree.
MysticalCalc credits one contributing writer, Marcus Vance, who covers how the calculators and their underlying number systems work. He does not claim to be an astrologer, a numerologist, or any kind of spiritual practitioner, and his bio on the authors page says so plainly. No writer on this site is presented with credentials they do not hold.
MysticalCalc runs Google AdSense and carries a small number of affiliate links to other calculator tools, disclosed on the privacy policy and in the footer of every page. Advertising and affiliate relationships never determine what a calculator returns or what an article says about a tradition.
If a birthstone month, a zodiac date range, or a numerology value is wrong, that is a factual error and we fix it as soon as it is confirmed, regardless of how the page otherwise reads. Use the contact form to flag anything; we reply within 1-2 business days and update the page directly rather than issuing a separate notice.
