A life path number is a single digit from 1 to 9 (or one of the master numbers: 11, 22, or 33), calculated by adding the digits of your birth date together until you reach a single number. It is the most widely used number in numerology, which has existed in various forms since at least ancient Greece.
How to calculate your life path number
Break your birth date into month, day, and year. Reduce each to a single digit (or master number), then add those together and reduce again.
Example: April 17, 1993
Month: 4
Day: 1 + 7 = 8
Year: 1 + 9 + 9 + 3 = 22 (master number, keep as is)
Sum: 4 + 8 + 22 = 34, then 3 + 4 = 7. Life path number: 7.
